Grantley Hall knows how to throw a party. This year, Viva La Booth was invited along for the ride.
If you’ve seen Yorkshire’s Poshest Hotel: Grantley Hall on Channel 5, you’ll know that this isn’t a hotel that does anything by halves.
Its spectacular Halloween celebrations have even made it onto television.
So when we were invited to bring our brand-new Viva La Revival enclosed photo booth to the 2026 Halloween party, we knew we had to create something worthy of the occasion.
And we had a few ideas.
Not Just a Photo Booth. Part of the Party.
Here’s something we’ve learnt from years of working at weddings, parties and events. The things people remember aren’t always the things you spend the most money on.
They’re the unexpected moments. The laughter. The people. The things that happen when everyone forgets they’re being photographed.
That’s exactly what we wanted to bring to Grantley Hall.
Our new Viva La Revival booth takes inspiration from the traditional enclosed photo booths we all remember. Pull the curtain, squeeze everyone in, strike a pose and wait for those little black-and-white photo strips.
No endless retakes. No perfect Instagram poses required. Just brilliant photographs of people having a brilliant time.
Till Death Was a Party
For Grantley Hall, we wanted the booth to look as though it had been designed specifically for the event.
Because it had.
We customised the exterior panels with Grantley Hall branding, created personalised digital screens and designed the print experience around the Halloween celebrations.
Even the screen instructions had a little attitude: SIT. LOOK. DON’T MOVE.
A nod to the original photo booth experience, where you had a few seconds to get your pose right before the camera did its thing.
The result was a vintage-inspired booth that fitted right into one of Yorkshire’s most spectacular Halloween parties.
And the guests absolutely loved it.
Why We’re Bringing Back the Enclosed Photo Booth
In a world where everyone has thousands of photographs sitting on their phones, we think there’s something rather special about a photograph you can actually hold.
A photo strip tucked into a handbag. Pinned to a fridge. Kept in a drawer for years.
That’s what Revival is about.
Beautiful black-and-white portraits, printed instantly, with all the charm of a traditional photo booth and the quality of modern professional photography.
And because the booth is enclosed, there’s something different about the experience.
People relax. They get silly. They do things they might never do in front of a photographer.
Those are often the best photographs of the night.
